Everyone fears something:
the Bloodied Captain fears the thought
of fear, itself and MacBeth,
the bearded sisters of the wyrd.
Only Duncan seemed to be
unafraid, yet we know how
he was so easy to dispatch.
And the lady, self-assured
was terrified the crimson spot
would never come out nor wash clean.

To support the poet’s benign coffee addiction: Coffee.
