Solace

I wanted to kiss every inch of you,
those waning eyes, pale dry lips
even those red rosy cheeks…
I wanted to take away the melody of desolation,
painted lines and verses of sorrow…
black and blue living deep within you.
Lights dancing to the beat..
It slows down when you gazed at me.
Your eyes they seem to speak
what your heart couldn’t release
If only I could vanquish
the amount of gray
black has dig into,
I would give my hues,
my colors…

just to see the sparks back in you.
