Someone to Love

She’s just looking for someone to

hear her,

her words, her joys, her mundane and her heartfelt,

the disappointment in her voice and expectancy in her throat.

She’s just looking for someone to

see her,

the blush on her face, tears on her cheek, smile forming at the corner of her eyes, lips ready to birth anything.

She’s just looking for someone to

accept her

for who she is, what she is, how she is,

all her quirks and eccentricities,

fears and insecurities,

mental impurities,

vulnerabilities. She’s just looking for someone to

love.

her.
