Something being sought

Not every void is meant to be filled
Not every word spoken is heard
Not every memory should be revisited
And not every fantasy can be the reality

Sometimes the world walks on the unexpected paths
Sometimes the known is unidentifiable
Sometimes the smile is just a fake attire
And sometimes confusion creates a mayhem in the mind

The price of happiness is too high for everyone to pay
But can’t we gift a smile to someone each day?
People enter and our lives
But do we really move on?

The memories haunt
The dreams shatter
The people around change
But do they really change?

The wait is never over
The approval is never given
The returning is not entertained
And the quibble ruins the best of the relations

The smile, happiness, expressions, and care are important
And every one accepts this statement
But why do we still tend to ignore the deeds that even we seek?
And why do we still seek the hard to get and not the one right in front of us?
