Trudging around the outskirts
This location pinned to favourites
Sorrow is a destination
Arriving at no place

Stumbling in the dark
Jagged objects bruise the edges
Sorrow is destructive
It strips away meaning

Lost in an emotional current
Nothing makes it to shore
Sorrow saturates
Drowning out the answers
