Speechless

fire in the sky

I am speechless.
Without speech.
I have no speech.
Lost for words.
Sounds cannot escape
with my breath
to wait for the dew
to weigh upon them.

The words are trapped
Within my throat.
Engulfed by a throbbing pulse.
Constricted by blood red veins.
The heat rising
in swirling circles above my head.
The cold forming icicles
To spear down upon me.

Frozen by flames of fear.
