On a cloudy, damp day
Sentiments ravage the stillness
My thoughts shower the window
Even the seagulls cry
On the radio,
An indie band sings that
Company is ok; solitude is bliss
I sigh and fail to feel it
On the new place,
I have already unpacked
to ponder what I have lost on the way
and wonder what I should’ve left behind
The day rambles on
Still and restless
Silent and noisy
Stagnant and numb
