Strewn Love

Sense, simplicity and sexuality abound,
Stolen hearts in each other they found.
United in love they rejoiced life,
He longed for her to be his wife.
They set sail together in a path strewn with sorrows,
But they were able to save each other from their horrows.
They lived through aeons with stories to tell,
But not a single child to shout and yell.
He did not know that it was her last night,
She never woke up, he couldn’t believe his plight.
Six feet under the ground she fell,
His wedding vow had said, “ I’ll follow you through heaven or hell.”
On a pleasant day afternoon, he found acceptance,
He muttered-”mo chuisle” as his heart stopped in penance.
