Daily triumph of forces of light
promise of resurrection
and what not

Banishing darkness —
dispelling mists and chill
edge a slice of orange

No
that comes with heat
if not a cheese
and always what greedy belly
will harbour it at night?

Egg break
yolk slithering out
Crack of dawn an egg breaking

Rising getting bigger straining —
sticky bottom —
stretch chwooo —
wok free

Sound, seen and not heard
Wonders never cease
