i mispell the name of the people you’re about to meet
in a google search.
The meaning comes clearly, though.
As clearly as the fact that i
want to see you before you go but,
you don’t want to see me, but
you feel you have to
because i asked.

i misstep and i nearly fall
down on all these thoughts of mine.

Nothing is forever,
if you’re not forever,
even as a friend.

i’ll buy me a new laptop
after you leave.
At least the warranty will tell me
when I should expect the laptop
to be foreign to me.
