Talk Again

I want us to talk again —

the way we used to

when the sun was coming up,

and we were miles away from anywhere.

I want us to talk again —

about all the things we would think about,

yet never thought to say out loud to anyone else.

I want us to talk again —

like the way we did before we wanted to do anything more than that.

I want us to talk.

And if we never talk again,

I want you to know that

I miss that most of all —

and every time the sun goes down,

I think of all the things

I wish I could tell you.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
