Techno Utopia

My eyes have turned to TVs
My soup has turned pea green
My brain is just a pc
Running on background
Algorithms decide my day
Facebook picks my friends
Dating is a series
Of mild lies
Beneath a deceptive picture
The whole of human attention
Is being directed by advertising
We’re just commodities now
Been traded by tech companies
It’s kind of sad
We’ve enough power
To do anything
Solve every human need
And we’re flicking
Through porn sites
And cat videos
And we’ve never been
So lonely
And we’ve never been
So unhappy.
