THE CEANAIDEACH

The Ceanaideach
The ugliest, most tempestious, stormiest, malevolent
Piece of sub-arctic coastline existant;
They were the Ceanaideach there.
They who still had gill-slit scars
And adorned their bodies with sea-weed
And had webbed hand and foot babies.
They, who to the screaming storm
Said-we are the storm
And to the raging sea
Said- we are the sea.
The northers from
The gnarly grey-black sea.
The Ceanaideach in seaweed masks;
And the ugly-head land;
Transformed by Liaisartx, the Cetun Ceian who returned
From space beyond the Sun;
From Xorae Stararq
In an emerald vessel and implanted fragments of stardust
In them in the time before men,
When there was only time.
Making them whole.
