The day you left.
I must walk on my own again,
A realisation that was as bad
As rain on a snowy day!
You were my strength;
Your smell still lingers on my pillow
Which gives me hope
Of you running back to me
Of butterflies & fireflies in my backyard.
Dance me to the moonlight again;
Know that I’m,
Starving for your arms!
I know I should
Get rid of your white shirt
But,
That makes my heart cringe and my lungs clog.
They say,
Time perfects and polishes us,
But,
This polish has
Tainted me even further!
I've always embraced darkness,
But without you,
Even darkness has become so dark;
Looking at it,
My eyes now suffer.
