The Glory and the Shame

Our bodies shame us.
Our bodies glorify us.
Our minds slave to our bodies.
Our bodies serve us well,
so, Mind, why do you object?
Projection?
Perhaps…
Minding our minds
we denigrate,
we glorify,
running naked into the night,
the stars,
unseeing,
uncaring.
And the mind proclaims,
Judge not, lest ye be judged.
It gets complicated.
