The sadness is palpable
Dark clouds hang overhead
A heart weighed down by grief
The soul weeps internally
Such excruciating grief indescribable

A deep breath
Complete silence
The pain mounts
A gasp
Relief slips farther

A sudden glimmer of hope
This too shall pass
We hope
