Like a star on the backdrop
Of a black-blue bruised sky
Dreams like mist
As far away as the stars
Shining through fogs and mists
Like Gatsby’s green light
A dream too immense
Too impossible to grasp
Dreams I can’t yet dream
Choice upon choice
A light that guides
A light that mocks
Dreams a lifetime away
To be found in the next city
The next ocean, the next continent
In all the heavens and the depths of hell
