The lost walk
It has been long,
The walk…
Walking in search of those moments,
The once ritual heading nowhere,
Just after our lunch, when the sun sharpened its presence,
The occasional breeze embraced our essence,
Finding blissful craze,
We walked together losing ourselves in the friendly maze,
Through the pathway, across the narrow alley,
With jingling giggles,
With laughters of layered outbursts,
The ones evident and the ones hidden in delayed reactions,
Random crappy conversations,
Absurd and sloppy interpretations,
Strolling down,
Pepping up,
Smiling was the only habit,
In the familiar path,
The curves,
The twists,
The trees,
The pillars,
I walked with them,
Not once monotonous,
Not once tiresome,
But the pathway was destined,
To one less tap of familiarity,
One less giggle,
One less story,
To the ones parting ways,
With mortal imprints of friendly sways.
Chasing change, l left midway
I left the familiar pathway,
I left my friends,
I still walk,
But never with the same feel again.
