The River

I have been down this road

and Traveled so far

A journey to life

blessed with a solitude of war

Looking back down that road

filled with dreams and wishes

A few came true

others just misses

Looking in front of me

the future is unclear

One step at a time

with apprehension and fear

When the time has come

and I am no more

Take me down to A river

Take me down to THE river

And watch me empty into the seas
