Sequestered, and bunkered in
We see our hero, once again
Tear down the lies that will burden
And make our demise darkly certain.

Wise and watching all nuanced speech
Vague and vacuous, out of reach
A nail that never met it’s coffin
The blow would ever be so softened.

Burning bridges left and right
Building walls up out of sight
Nothing left but angered words
Spoken often, but never heard.
