The small things I will do

Life is a volume of short stories. Some stories have a beginning, a middle and an end. Others finish abruptly. Some have characters that go missing. And there are those that we abandon. I have decided to end all those stories. I swam in a sea of broken stories and bled. But enough now. I must move on.
So let me start afresh. Do small things. Not write whole stories, just small passages of love, erase the past, rewrite my history. I plan to do small things like:

I will look at empty spaces
I will speak to strangers
I will admit to the truth
I will allow myself to feel more
I will ask more questions

Is this the second innings? Is this my confession?

Hello dark past:
I’m about to do it
I’m going to forgive you.
