Every day becomes the same
Making another’s dreams
On automatic pilot
Drowning out the screams
Overworked and underpaid
Aching to belong
Standing in a crowded room
Alone
No longer filled with song
Getting home each evening
Nuking food and flaking out
Watching reality tv
Before you just pass out
