These Pieces of Me

A part of me got broken

By the words we left unspoken

At first thought we were joking

Now it seems I've just been woken

Up

To the way that life deludes you

The way that life eludes you

As if life chose not to include you

In its plans and just removed you

From

Its history

A demented kind of victory

A tormented blinded mystery

Don't know now what life is to me

But

I choose to claw my way out

My heart's heat'll thaw my soul out

And from my core I'll let the light out

Would go to war to fight the hate out
