To Be And Not Compare

To juxtapose one’s uniqueness

Trying to cover the flaws that keep on glinting

Wanting to be perfect

Combating the inner mind of what’s perceived

Intertwined with another man’s conscience

It’s a mirror reflecting one’s reality

Abraded till everything is abrogated

Absconding cuz you know you’ve turned yourself to nothing

Don’t compare, just be

Knowing that one’s uniqueness can never be turned into a commodity

Embrace and let that insecurity be repudiated

Ameliorate one’s mind

Let that ardent distinctiveness be conspicuous to the eyes
