To Plant Or To Destroy — A Short Poem

To plant or to destroy
The choice is yours!
Haven’t we all made
That choice since long?

You may tell yourself otherwise
You may write and paint it otherwise
But look around
And you know what we’ve chosen

They will tell you
It was necessary, a good trade off
But was it?
Breathe in and you’ll have your answer

Evolution and development are shields
To silence the skeptics down
Make us feel okay about
The destruction we’ve unleashed

You can answer what you wish to
Or answer it not
But look around and think
For actions speak louder than words!
