The truth about many attempts of separation

My poor little toes
do you not now knows
you have got to watch,
wherever you goes?

They call it a stub,
but here’s the real rub,
‘cause it’s black and blue
‘tween mid toe as one
and next toe as two.

I guess you now know
where one is headed
the others must go!

Were you off on your days?
Going different ways?
Trying to separate
the one from the other?
Such truly never pays!

Their Creator decreed
them united indeed,
until death do them part,
married from the start.

Anything so decreed
our bodies, hearts and minds
must scrupulously heed!
