Travelers and Wanderers

Ages have turned,

travelers may return

heavy bags packed with the stuffing

artifacts and foods of the East
in contentment or resentment, who knows?

…………………..

Traveler may have silted in the sultry deserts,
or slid in the creeks of the joyous mountains

wiped blades clean in salt of oceans

slippery slopes of being.

Wanderer waits for centuries to improve

as he wanders in his mind

wonders of food and mountains and sultry deserts
places unimaginable.

Perhaps a trip to corner bookstores.

Wanderer reads histories,
seeks confusion to answers- answers to confusion;

wanderer may lust for skin unimaginable
if forbidden to express the lavish gambles
of travelers.

Seeker found history

and light.
