Truth in the Wind

The Absolute.
There since time immemorial;
until sentience arose,
violence reigned,
the day truth was scattered on the wind.

Who am I to tell:
who is right? Or where?
A world where numbers cannot lie,
but fail to bridge the chasm between reason,
and any grounding truth.
A world where empiricism longs
for a measure of itself.

Behold, a movement!
The pendulum swings
- or does it swing us? -
in a circle we cannot bear to know;
damned by the ramifications
of the grounding truth…

Far from me, or you;
far from the heavens above
or the earth below;
exists a truth ethereal.
Truth so close to you,
Truth so close to me
- perhaps immanent at the nexus -
of a divine notion of WE.
