Two faced peace

Every curl, a knot
Each smile, a trap
Vivid dreams, suffocate
And wild thoughts, are fetters

The steps seem hurting
The sky rains fire
Rivers are no longer soothing
And peace ain’t existent

Why would someone then laugh?
When would the silence prevail?
How could the empathy triumph?
And who shall you trust?

With the world on verge of mourning
The inhumanity rising
Children being raped, and elderly in shelter
Who shall be my saviour, and whom shall I save?
