From southern northern America,
to sub Saharan Africa.

From a tear in a child’s eyes,
to a rage in protesting cries.

We need to hear a sound that needs to be heard,
a story that somewhere someone writes in his blood.

Water is what we all need for living,
it’s the ultimate right that shouldn’t require any giving.

People like ‘us’ waste and misuse water,
it could be a drop that a son searches somewhere to save his father.

We need to take lessons from innocent animals who know how water should be utilized,
it’s a shame for us humans as we call ourselves civilized.

Now the bell is ringing the time is running out,
we need to act now that i can say without a doubt.

Let’s take an oath that we’ll empathize on every situation,
because water is for everyone not bound to any culture, race, creed or nation.

P.S: This is my first take on a spreading a social message through a poem in words. hope you’ll like it.
