water cycle

life is like a summer storm
a gradual falling from the place you came
yet somehow, over time, you find your place to land
and the cycle keeps going

life is like a waterfall
a continued dashing against the rocks
yet somehow, over time, the rocks fade away
and the cycle keeps going

life is like a babbling brook
a continual stumble downwards led by currents and eddies
yet somehow, over time, we all end up in the ocean
and the cycle keeps going

life is like a bay
a continually sheltered area battered by changing waves
yet somehow, over time, we end up where we began
and the cycle keeps going

life is like the endless sea
a continuous stretching of hidden complexity
yet somehow, over time, we evaporate away
and the cycle keeps going
