What about the sun?

Maa,
What about the sun?
How would it feel?
When the only day people looked at it
was when it was barely seen.

Why do people do that?
Why do they gossip and wish to see
when someone is in pain
and has a shadow cast over their dream?

Dear little girl,
about the world why do you fear?
The world will be the same.
About the shining sun thou shall not fear,
nothing will affect its fame.

The billion years of its shining glory,
won’t be affected by a day of sadness.
Nothing shall happen to its dream, very soon it will recover,
with its brightest beam.

Because the sun works hard to make rays,
it deserves the sky.
And even when there is a false shadow cast over it,
people still won’t be able to look it in the eye.
