And He asked me:
will these bones yet live?

I answered: My L-rd,
You alone would know —

but to sort the crumbling parts
place them in their intricacy
that blood would flow
and muscles pull
frame that tiny face
that breath may enter
teeth and tongue open
release the word “Daddy!”
that he never lived to say —

and He said:
he will march among this great host
dance with them the victory dance
chant their song of re-arising
walk the Holy Mountain
with the fathers and the sons
to all infinity —
so command these bones to rise!

and I called the bones to stand their ranks
and … they … did!
