Winter

When the winter’s night moon comes howling in
And you are left alone with your sin…
When darkness falls on your life,
Where gloom closes in on your soul.

It’s the winter’s night moon your soul will howl for,
Then your life will freely float along like a cloud hovering
above a storm. Waiting! Waiting!

You watch your Life float,

Soulless, cynical and empty.

You go through the motions hoping one day,
One night maybe, your soul will join you.
That you will be whole again, happy, smiling,
but The cold comes in. In haunts you.

The emptiness eats you from within,
Bare hearts alone at night: One day
You may all reconnect, but when?

Maybe one winter night.
