Your Best

Do always your best unto others
Treating them warmly with smiles
Be kind to sisters and brothers
Lifting spirits evermore, all the whiles

Do always your best unto neighbors
You can bring down heaven to here
Why wait for the appearance of saviors
When you hold Christ’s key ever near?

Do always your best unto strangers
You never know who you might find
An angel on their way to some mangers
Following stars, leaving all else behind

Do always your best unto each
May no evil pass through thy lips
Be wary of the truth ye teach
And the cup adversity sips
