Whether you like the holiday season or not, the end of the year is always a great time to reflect on the past year. Like last year and the year before, we want to take this opportunity to share the 2015 highlights from P9 Land, so without further ado, here they are:

(Don’t mock us. As environmentally friendly folks, we like to recycle.)

We closed Fund Número Tres with 55 million fresh Euros.
(Yes we know, everyone raised a fund this year, but when we did it early this year it was still kinda cool.)

We announced 19 new investments. And 18 of them actually were real (not this one). :-)

The #P9Family raised almost a billion dollar in follow-on financing from investors including Accel, Index, Rocket Internet, Insight Venture Partners, Lakestar and J.C. Flowers. Yes, that’s a 1 with 9 zeros and a bunch of great co-investors.

It wasn’t only our portfolio that got bigger, our own team grew as well! Four people joined the club:

Clément (Research Analyst), Jenny (Talent Manager), Savina (Investment Analyst), Primoz (Legal Manager)
(from top left to top right, then diagonally down to the bottom left, then laterally to the bottom right … makes sense?)

Thanks to all participants! It’s been awesome!

We were humbled and thrilled to pick up the ‘Best Seed Investor’ Award at The Europas just 4 years after we started. If you haven’t patted us on our backs yet, it’s never too late.

We added five new pins to the map: Finland (Yoogaia), Austria (Eversport), Sweden (Automile), the Netherlands (Deskbookers and StuDocu) and Slovenia (not yet announced) … all while also spending a lot of time in the US (SF, NYC).

After we already teased it 12 months ago, we finally launched our shiny new website and updated our logo at the same time. Next up is an app! Just kidding. Maybe.

0 write-offs. Zero. Cero. Zéro. нуль.

What a year! Finally, we were too lazy busy to write personalized holiday cards this season, but don’t want to deprive you of this incredible holiday-spirited GIF before we see your eyeballs next year! Hope you like. :-)

We wish you and your loved ones a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year. See you in 2016!

Your team at Point Nine
