Originally scheduled to end today, EA announced that the beta for their upcoming Star Wars FPS sequel Battlefront II would be getting a 2-day extension. The beta on Xbox One, PS4, and PC will now end this Wednesday, October 11th.

There was no word on why the beta was extended, but hopefully this allows Electronic Arts to gather more data and feedback. The beta is for multiplayer only. Players still have access to four modes: Galactic Assault, Starfighter Assault, Arcade, and Strike. For the first game in the modern Battlefront lineup, multiplayer was essentially the extent of the game. This time around, people are particularly excited for the game’s campaign mode. Like many modern games, people have been raising issue with the game’s microtransactions in multiplayer.

Star Wars Battlefront II will release on November 17, 2017.
