Cathy Yan will probably direct the Harley Quinn spin off starring Margot Robbie

That’s right: Cathy Yan — a Wall Street Journal reporter — will likely direct Warner Bros’ new project, and Christina Hodson will probably write the script.

The project is based on Birds of Prey, and the film will probably start shooting as soon as Robbie finishes her current projects, so hopefully by the end of this year.
