It’s 2017 and you can expect that every new AAA game will come in multiple versions that add value (increase revenue) at each tier. Developed by Sledgehammer Games and published by Activision, this year’s ‘Call of Duty: World War II’ is no exception.

The known versions for the title are the standard edition, the Pro Edition (which comes with a SteelBook case and the season pass), and now the Valor Edition. There are actually two different versions of the Valor Edition.

  • The ‘Valor Collection Pro’ includes everything from the Pro Edition of the game, exclusive pins and patches, a terrifying Zombies poster, and a D-Day inspired bronze statue.
  • The less expensive ‘Valor Collection’ includes all of the above, but lacks the game’s season pass.

At the time of writing, the Valor Edition appears to only be available for pre-order at EB Games Australia, with the most expensive version costing $269.95

The first mention of the Valor Edition was from Michael Condrey, founder of Sledgehammer Games, via Twitter:

Call of Duty: WWII launches November 3, 2017 on PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Because of an exclusive deal with Sony, the multiplayer beta for those that pre-oder the game for PS4 will be available August 26–29. There is a second weekend of the beta running Spetember 2–5 available for Xbox One pre-orders as well.
