Valve Potentially Making Battle Royale Mode For CS:GO
The battle royale genre has been blowing up in recent months, with games like Bluehole Studio’s Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds and Epic Games’ Fortnite dominating the Twitch charts and netting millions in sales.
One company that has not dipped their toe in the genre yet, however, is everyone’s favorite hater of the number 3, Valve.
This might change, however, as the owners of Steam are potentially set to introduce a battle royale mode into Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. In a video by Valve News Network, evidence has been compiled with the notion leading to Valve jumping into the battle royale genre. Check it out below.
If it indeed comes to fruition, it will be the latest in a string of battle royale style games and modes in the past year, with PUBG and Fortnite leading the way.
