One of Xbox’s most popular features is its implementation of backwards compatibility, allowing playing of 360 games and, recently, original Xbox games on Xbox One.

However, after the last batch of games added last week, Xbox Director of Programming Major Nelson announced via Twitter there will be no more games added to the backwards compatibility program until after the New Year.

While there was no specific timetable given for when the next batch of games will be released, one can imagine there will be a good mix of 360 and original Xbox titles released as soon as possible.
