Launch of the Polinate dApp
Today marks a tremendous milestone in our roadmap — the launch of the Polinate dApp.
We, the entire Polinate team, have been hard at work for months bringing everything together to create the Polinate Ecosystem. Outside liquidity mining, Discord, IDO, relationships with creators and our rewards for token holders we have also been laser focussed on a high quality product. We have been working on the Polinate Raise dApp and other products for months even before our initial marketing and launch.
We have had numerous audits and tests carried out by both Hacken and our amazing Polinate BEeTA testers! We’d like to take a moment and thank the BEeTa testers for all their hard work and in being part of our journey!
So what does this dApp actually do and how does it work? Let’s go back to what is Polinate
“Polinate is a next generation crowdfunding platform designed to discover, launch and empower creatives globally in a permissionless way. We give creators their break to get funded by connecting creative projects, investors, fans and patrons.”
To enable creatives to crowdfund in a permissionless and crypto-native way, we have created a toolset which allows creatives to set up campaigns and users to providing initial seed liquidity as well as users to both buy and trade access to tokens which give users the rights to claim rewards generated by the creator. This is all permissionless. I’m sure you will be as excited as we are to see it launched.
We’ve had our code reviewed by Hacken, our audit partners. The Polinate dApp has had 3 code reviews conducted by Hacken between the 22nd July 2021 and the 27th September 2021 and the findings are as follows:
“Our team performed an analysis of code functionality, manual audit, and automated checks with Mythril and Slither. All issues found during automated analysis were manually reviewed, and important vulnerabilities are presented in the Audit overview section. All found issues can be found in the Audit overview section.
As a result of the audit, security engineers found 2 low severity issues which were addressed before the second review.
After the second review security engineers found all issues were resolved. After the third review security engineers found a new function added together with two immutable state variables. No new issues were detected.”
