Advisors Spotlight
As Polinate prepares for its upcoming launch on the Polkastarter platform on Tuesday, 31st August 2021, we’ve started to introduce our trusted board of advisors. With a profound experience, they bring their excellence and expertise to the Polinate ecosystem.
Apart from leading several activities in different capacities, what brings them together is their belief in what we are trying to build with Polinate. We welcome all of them to the Polinate hive and let’s find out the buzz they have generated!
Julius Preite
Julius Preite is Vice President of Animation at Fox Entertainment company and over the last 25 years has worked on every animated show that aired on the network. Shows such as The Simpsons, Family Guy, King of the Hill, Futurama, Bobs Burger to name a few. His artwork has graced many magazine covers including Rolling Stone, Playboy, Filter, TV Guide, and Animation, and the Hollywood Reporter. He has received multiple illustration and marketing awards including the SPD SPOTS! for his Rolling Stones illustrations, the Folio Ozzie Illustration Award, various industry awards through Promax, and Key Art Awards. He also won Best Teaser Poster of the year for his award-winning 2007 theatrical campaign for The Simpsons Movie. (Homer reaching for a donut)
Prior to his move to Fox Broadcasting, he studied fine art illustration and painting at the Art Institute of Chicago, but quickly took to animation when The Simpsons animation studio gave him his first job after moving to Los Angeles at the age of 21.
Julius has had several successful side projects including the animated Ben Folds music video From Above, where he received a best director and best animated short award. He sold two original animated series’ Crumbsnatchers, a children’s animated show, to Sesame Workshop and The Dictator, an animated series to FOX.
Julius plans to bring his multiple decade expertise and understanding of the creative space, as well as the plethora of relationships he’s built in that time to help on a variety of aspects for this project.
Taj Stansberry
Taj Stansberry is an American director and photographer, known for his music videos with artists such as Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Usher, Ne-Yo, Big Sean, Chris Brown, John Legend, Young Jeezy, Ludacris, Keyshia Cole, Swizz Beats, Eve, Wale, and Rick Ross. His work sits in famous hotels and museums. Of late, he’s become fascinated by the world of NFTs, with some ground breaking projects on the way.
Having worked with essentially everyone in mainstream music throughout his career on the creative side, Taj has an unmatched knowledge of how to navigate a tricky industry. He plans to help use his experience to help artists on our platform get around those while maximizing their full creative potential.
Adrian Swish
Adrian Swish is the founder of Swish Management, LLC. He handles all talent, creative, and business affairs, along with strategic digital marketing and branding. Clients include RMR, Icewear Vezzo, NHale, DJ Flippp, and more. He’s also the founder of Digital Currensy Inc, a music technology label services company with the goal of making music distribution obtainable for every artist by decentralizing the process.
Having spent time at the intersection of entertainment and crypto for the past few years while managing top tier artists in the hip space, Adrian will be bringing Polinate to all the right people in the music industry.
Craig Considine
Dr. Craig Considine is a scholar, global speaker, media contributor, & public intellectual based at the Department of Sociology at Rice University. He is the author of many books & articles. Dr. Considine’s opinions have appeared in the New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, BBC, CBS News, Fox News, MSNBC, Newsweek, and Foreign Policy. He has been invited to speak at some of the leading international organizations and universities in the world. Dr. Considine is visible on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. He holds a PhD from Trinity College — University of Dublin, an MSc from Royal Holloway — University of London, and a BA from American University in Washington, DC. Dr. Considine is a U.S. Catholic of Irish and Italian descent.
Being completely new to the crypto space but a multiple times published author, Craig plans to help us as he learns navigating the crypto world himself in ways that would best suit an author.
Sam Feldt
Amsterdam’s Sam Feldt has earned attention in Europe and worldwide for his melodic house remixes, mixtapes, and collaborations beginning in the mid-2010s.
‘Uplifting’ is without a doubt the word that best describes Dutch DJ, producer, platinum selling artist and sustainability pioneer, Sam Feldt. Having built a career upon his distinctly feel-good sound, Sam already has a double album and a multitude of top-selling releases under his belt. Besides his musical activities, he has developed a platform — Fangage — for artists to connect with their fans better. His next project is to spearhead a movement that will help influencers adopt a more sustainable lifestyle, giving back to the planet to reduce and compensate their own environmental impact and encouraging others to do the same. Both in music and life, Sam has his sights set firmly on the future.
Not just uplifting in his sound, Sam is always looking for ways to help out others. First of all, the technology behind Heartfeldt.me was designed as a modular platform from the ground up, so that it could also be used by other parties. Called Fangage, the system now serves around 40 artists and influencers around the globe.
In the future, he will continue trying new things and mold his findings into a platform much like Fangage, so that other artists will be able to adopt the format easily. “The whole idea is to maximize the impact of what I’m doing,” Sam elaborates. “On my own, I’m just one guy trying to do my best for the environment. If I can get a number of other big-name DJs on board, we can start raising mass awareness with the public about emissions and other environmental issues. Then, we can really make a difference!
Sam recently came on as an advisor and is interested in how there can be cross-polination (pun intended) with his project Fangage. Also, as an artist whose seen massive success, he sees the ways in which this can help burgeoning artists get the push that they need to succeed.
