Polis Project Weekly Updates (03/11 to 03/17)
Polis Core
We recently released PolisCore v1.6.2. This version introduced the following fix to the previous release:
— Fixes superblock generation for the governance budget.
This is a mandatory update; everyone should update local wallets and masternodes before the superblock.
If a user doesn’t update wallet, the masternodes will fork and stop receiving rewards.
For masternodes hosted on PolisNodes, we will handle the update.
Official wallets are on the Official Github repository and the website.
You can find the release here on the main Github account:

Remember: No one on the Polis Core Team, Polis Support Team, or Trusted members teams would message you directly. If you receive a direct message, it is probably a scam attempt. Keep your coins safe.
Also, there are no bots from the Core Team; if you receive a direct message from a Bot, it is probably a scammer.
PolisPay
The PolisPay team will publish a new release, v8.4.1, this week.
The newest version of the PolisPay app is expected to arrive before the end of the week and will include the following changes:
- Revamped Shift experience (Beta), we will be testing a new interface for Shift service,
- Support for Gift Cards for new countries! (France, Cuba & United Arab Emirates)
- Bug fixes for Voucher Settings, Gift Card providers sorting.
- Adds some visual elements for Gift Card features.
- Fixes a bug that didn’t display all U.S. Gift Cards until the list was reloaded or the searchbar was used.
- Miscellaneous bug fixes and small improvements.
On upcoming weeks, the team will be focused on improving reliability and speed for all our services.
Gift card expansion
As part of our development, we have been currently working on adding more gift cards for Mexico and Latin America.
PolisNodes
We’re pleased to announce that PolisNodes now accepts Binance Coin as a currency payment!
Just as well, three new coin prospects are lining up to be added briefly.
Community Management and Outreach
We have just received the missing piece-the API interface to the internal shift function. Currently being tested.
All pull requests to keep Polis updated in the official BTCpayserver github repository have been tested, evaluated and approved so they were merged in last week.
This makes Polis one of the few out of the box working coins with BTCpayserver, the currently most used POS system to accept cryptocurrencies on websites.
