2022 Election Thoughts
Has my faith in humanity been redeemed? Partially! Let’s look at where we stand:
- DeSantis- Overwhelming victory. How do you let “De Satan” win? Defeat
- Trump- major meltdown over results. He probably will not win in 2024. Victory!
- MTG- still in office Defeat
- Fetterman- Dr OZ losing to the rainbow coalition. Victory
- Lauren Boebert- Adam Frisch is leading by around 70 votes with 98% of the district reporting Toss-Up
- Herschell Walker- Reverand Warnock had more vote but Georgia law requires a 50% vote to decide the winner. This is going to a run-off vote in December. Toss-Up
At the end of the day, the House of Reps will go to the Republicans with a smaller margin of victory than previously expected, and the Senate could still go either way.
My question is simple.
Why did we vote with our pocketbooks instead of our conscience?
How can people like Trump, DeSantis, MTG, and others be allowed to trample on freedom and decency? I guess we are no better than Rome. Give the people Bread and Circuses, and you have the right to destroy people’s freedoms in the grand pursuit of power.

I need a moment to reflect. To that end, I will take a short break from writing on Medium as I think about how Political Diaper can make a difference. Because we cannot allow another election where the scurvy dogs of hatred and indecency win.
