Chances are, if you are reading my blog, you aren’t much of a Trump supporter. However, about a third of the country are big Trump supporters. They think the guy walks on water. If you manage to just watch Fox News and just read sites like Breitbart on the internet, you can skate through the day with only consuming positive Trump news. Back in reality, everyday I read something else that make him more deplorable. Just when I thought Trump could not stoop any lower, he proves me wrong. This morning I read that the Trump administration actually moved $260 million from cancer and HIV research, programs that effortlessly work to treat cancer stricken children, to cover the exorbitant price of his foolish immigration children detention program.
To make it even more disgusting, countless cancer and HIV victims will die as a result of our president rewarding the detention facility companies that donated handsomely to his campaign. Money is Trump’s only motivator. Think about it. Besides securing conservative judges and passing the hugest tax break in our nation’s history, the only things Trump has been concerned with is his Magical Wall and separating immigrant children from their parents.
Analyzing these two platforms will reveal two massive government contracts. Sure enough, at the end of the rainbows sit two companies that donated a shit load of money to Trump’s campaign.
The president of the United States devotes a majority of his time to this cruel immigration detention crisis. The world was disgusted to see images of children locked in little cages, or policemen ripping little babies from their mothers. Even his daughter came out and said how disturbing the crisis was. How evil do you have to be to actually enforce laws to tear little babies away from their mothers and imprison them? It makes this disgusting tragedy even more horrendous when we learn Trump is doing all of this for money. It is no coincidence that the corporations profiting from this horrendous policy are private detention firms, that coincidentally, gave the Trump campaign plenty during the campaign, according to Opensecrets.org.
I wrote this article a while ago, about the apparent dangers when private detention firms contribute sick amounts of money to election campaigns. When the president is elected, how do they payback these hefty donations? The only way to satisfy detainment facilities, is to implement legislation that assures thousands of people will be locked up. The scam turns out to be well worth the campaign contributions. According to an official at the department of Health and Human Services, the cost of detaining migrant children was $775 a night per crying child. Ironically, this exorbitant cost is much more than keeping the child with the parents. Include the vicious backlash Trump administration has gotten for this policy, we need to wonder why Trump maintained his policy for so long?
Now, according to CNN, the cost of imprisoning these little children is so much that Trump has to take $260 million out of cancer and HIV research. Our president feels paying back his donors is more important than saving the life of a little cancer stricken child. As disturbing as that sentence is, this one is worse. You are also responsible if you didn’t vote for Hillary. You were tricked by Trump and the Kremlin. But why should those defenseless cancer and HIV victims suffer because of your stupidity? Do us all a favor and never vote again!
