China Grants 16 Trademarks to Ivanka’s Closed Business for Shoes, Purses, Gadgets and….Voting Machines

In March and May of ’16, Trump’s plastic daughter Ivanka applied for trademarks to sell some of her products in China. The items correlating with the trademarks are peculiar. I understand handbags and purses, but there were some trademark applications for voting machines and semiconductors. Ivanka Trump’s latest trademarks in China include voting machines, sausage casings

The irony is delicious. If you are interested in buying voting machines, I suggest not buying one made by Trump & Co. If I am attempting to conduct a fair election, a Trump voting machine might be the last one I’d buy.

This is very confusing, because Ivanka closed her company a few months ago. Now Trump will undoubtedly face a barrage of ethic violation accusations. Is Trump making policy decisions with China based on the good of the country or the good of his family.

Remember when Trump issued those harsh tariffs against China? Every single Chinese company suddenly had insurmountable tariffs to deal with. Every Chinese company that is, except Ivanka’s shitty clothesline.

Donald Trump’s China Tariffs Don’t Apply to Ivanka

You’d think a politician would want to avoid ethical violations. Especially since his daughter shut down her company and ISN’T making and selling her product anymore, why risk the backlash Trump would inevitably sustain? Why do you need trademarks for products for company that doesn’t exist anymore?

Something is fishy.

“Some countries will no doubt see this as a way to curry favour with President Trump,” wrote Fred Wertheimer, president of Democracy 21, and Norman Eisen, chairman of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, two nonprofit watchdog groups.

Eisen’s group reported on the trademarks Saturday.

“Other countries may see the business requests made by his daughter’s company as requests they cannot refuse.” The Star

According to Reuters, China purposely makes it very difficult for foreign companies to sell items and compete against Chinese companies. Some of the largest companies in America, like Facebook and Apple, can’t take a single step into the Chinese market, because of how difficult it is to get Chinese trademarks.

Miraculously, Ivanka managed to get her trademarks instantly, while having dinner with her dad and the Chinese president at Mar-a-lago.

Legal experts say the onus is on companies looking to do business in China to understand how China’s trademark law works, as it differs greatly from that of the United States.

China uses a “first to file” system when it comes to trademarks, meaning that the party who files for registration first gets the trademark, while the United States uses a “first to use” system, meaning a party filing for a trademark has to show that it’s either used the mark in business or intends to use the mark in the future for business.

Again, Ivanka closed her company, why does she still need these trademarks. The trademarks are very lucrative. Perhaps when her father is out of office, she intends on profiting from them.

I don’t think anyone looks for semiconductors and voting machines in some shitty Ivanka boutique. My bet is that someone gave Ivanka a lot of money to submit a trademark application for them.

All of the Trumps are stealing every single dollar they can, while pops is in command!
