I wrote two previous articles about Trump’s inauguration. How befitting that his first presidential ceremony was dripping with unbridled corruption. Wasn’t electing Trump supposed to stop that corruption in Washington? Wasn’t he supposed to “drain the swamp”? During the election, millions of shit kickers, with their fingers wedged in their ears, defended their choice of Trump by assuming Trump didn’t need to be corrupt. According to them, Trump was so wealthy, he wouldn’t be crooked. Stupid is as stupid does.

Trump’s Inauguration Day Turned out to be the Beginning of his Scam on America

That article is about a year and a half old. Finally, it is being properly investigated!

Trump’s inauguration committee had a whopping $107 million donated. In an attempt to maximize this mountain of cash, Trump got rid of caps on individual contributions. If you were wealthy, and had favors you wanted Trump, the president, to do for you, the inaugural committee was the best way to get his attention.

An even bigger incentive to donate bigly, was that those that donated more than a certain level, got “exclusive access”. In other words, a conversation with the president was just a handsome donation away. What about draining the swamp? By definition, Trump’s inauguration system was the epitome of corruption!!! Disgusting!!!!

After the inauguration occurred, the world was asking , ‘what the hell was that?’ Trump’s inauguration allegedly cost more than Obamas’, Bushes’ and Clintons’. Both of Obama’s inaugurations, for example, cost less than half of the amount that Trumps’ did.

Just look at the artists that performed at Obama’s inauguration.

Bruce Springsteen, Mary J. Blige, John Bon Jovi, Jami Fox, Aretha Franklin, James Taylor, Jon Legend, Herbie Hancock, Garth Brooks, Stevie Wonder, U2, Pete Seeger, the surviving members of the greatest rock band EVER, the Grateful Dead, plus so many more.

That was a killer concert!

The music acts at Trump’s inauguration were literally what you might see at your little cousin’s bar mitzvah.

Big and Rich, Tony Orlando, the Rockettes, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Sam Moore (half of Sam and Dave), Pelican 212 and a few more that I guarantee you’ve never heard of.

Here is a photo illustrating how many thousands of more people were at Obama’s inauguration compared to Trumps’.

So then, Obama’s inauguration has a bigger attendance, it also has some of the greatest rock and roll acts in history. Yet, it cost just a fraction of Trumps’. Something doesn’t add up. However, when you look at the financing rules of presidential inaugurations, things start making sense.

Unlike a campaign, the inaugural committee isn’t legally required to disclose very much about its spending. In its nonprofit tax form, the committee is required to break down its expenses in broad categories and to list its five biggest vendors. But it is not required to explain every line item.

In any case, according to the tax form, about half the money — more than $50 million — went to just two vendors. $25.8 million went to WIS Media Partners, an event production firm started by a now-former adviser to Melania Trump. Another $25 million went to Hargrove Inc. for “event production.” What these firms did with those massive sums of cash is unknown.

That leaves about $50 million remaining. From that, about $10 million in total went to another three vendors, $4.6 million was paid out as salaries, and $5 million was left over and given out as grants. But where tens of millions more went remains a mystery, beyond the broadest of categories given on the disclosure forms. — VOX

Who does Trump select as the “finance chairs” for the inauguration? The people who gave Trump the most money earned seats in this auspicious committee! Sheldon Adelson, Steve Wynn (who was later accused of sexual molestation), Elliott Brody and Anthony Scaramucchi. The guy in charge of it all was Tom Barrack, a billionaire real estate developer whose been BFFs with Trump for decades.

On a side note, interestingly enough, according to The New York Times and The Washington Post, Barrack’s business interests have recently been concentrated on Saudi Arabia, The United Arab Emirates and Qatar.

With Trump at the helm, those swamps are over flowing!
