Paula White is an interesting character. I wrote this article about her at the beginning of the year. She is certainly a looker. God knows Trump loves those pretty blondes. She is a Senior Pastor at a non-denomination mega church in Apopka, Florida. She also has her own television show. As a result of her clearly obvious spiritual authority, Trump made her the chair women of our nation’s evangelical advisory board. My article was about how she implores her congregation to give HANDSOME donations to Donald Trump. In the following quote, she is actually asking her followers to give HER one month pay.
Each January, I put God first and honor Him with the first of our substance by sowing a first fruits offering of one month’s pay,” White writes. “That is a big sacrifice, but it is a seed for the harvest I am believing for in the coming year. And God always provides! Every year many others join us and sow a month’s pay, a week’s pay, others give a day’s pay, but everyone gives their best- The results are miraculous!” RawStory
Stupid is as stupid does. Kind of hard to feel bad for these staunch Trumpkin lovers, who are getting robbed blind by their spiritual advisers.
Turns out this silly “evangelical advisory board”, created by Donald Trump, to further fool his minions that religion is so important to him, has gotten itself into some legal hot water. Americans United for Separation of Church and State just filed a claim against the evangelical board, on grounds that they are just promoting a single religion.
We are tired of watching him give unprecedented access and influence to one religious group. And we’re tired of the secrecy. We’re asking them to shut down,” said Americans United President and CEO Rachel Laser. MercuryNews
No one has any clue what Paula White’s board is doing, except that they are secretly consorting with the president. If they are working to promote one religion over another then the board instantly becomes a violation of our constitution. I would bet the farm that Paula White is not doing much to promote Buddhism or Islam. In America, why should the government develop an agency that promotes one religion over another?
During a state dinner a few months ago, which was filled with prominent evangelicals, Trump told the guests that their support “has been incredible,” and that “I have given you a lot back,” the Associated Press reported. Later that night Paul White gave Trump and first lady a bible “signed by over a hundred Christians, evangelicals that love you, pray for you.” MercuryNews
I’m sure Trump was so honored to get that bible. I bet you he forgot it that evening.
Earlier this month Paula White preached at a church in Texas. Someone on stage next to her said, “Thanks to the Lord and Donald Trump, we can talk about these things in church on Sunday morning.” RightWingWatch
The fact that the religious right worship Donald Trump, is a real head-scratcher. When they voted for him, Donald Trump was being sued for stealing tuition money from little children and another lawsuit alleging that he sexually molested dozens of women.
Robert Jeffress, a pastor at the First Baptist Church in Dalls, says that Trump is BETTER than a candidate that “embodies the teaching of Jesus” because Trump embodies the biblical “strongman” in government.
Frank Amedia, an Ohio pastor is convinced that Trump receives downloads from God. PoliticalHaze
The religious right justify their seemingly ludicrous backing of this city slicking, tax evading, adulterous candidate by shrugging their arms in the air and saying he deserves a second chance. Unfortunately, Bill, Hillary, Obama, or any democrat gets similar pious spiritual forgiveness. Like little puppets dancing on a stage.
