The Secret Service is in trouble. More than a thousand agents will not be payed for hundreds of hours that they have worked during Trump’s presidency. Secret Service Director Randolph “Tex” Alles, in an interview with USA TODAY, said more than 1,000 agents have already hit the federally mandated caps for salary and overtime allowances that were meant to last the entire year.

The Secret Service has been forced to pay all of their funds to the Trump Organization.

The compensation crunch is so serious that the director has begun discussions with key lawmakers to raise the combined salary and overtime cap for agents, from $160,000 per year to $187,000 for at least the duration of Trump’s first term. USA TODAY

The president and his family are protected by the Secret Service. However, never has this assignment been so outrageously expensive. Every weekend Trump travels to his lavish resorts in Florida, New Jersey and Virginia. In addition, they must protect his children and their families on their business trips and vacations across the world.

“The president has a large family, and our responsibility is required in law,” Alles said. “I can’t change that. I have no flexibility.”

The real kicker is how much The Trump Organization profits from us tax payers.

Trump spends a weekend at his opulent Mar-a-Lago hotel in Palm Beach. Us tax payers have to pay for Trump’s room. However, the 20 or so agents also stay in Mar-a-Lago’s exorbitantly pricey rooms. Us taxpayers also have to pay for their room and board. In the end, all of that money goes in Trump’s pockets.

To make matters even more disgusting, Trump isn’t cutting the tax payer a deal. Instead, Trump is milking this for every last penny. Trump raised the prices on all of his hotels.

His travels are just a tiny snowflake, on the massive iceberg of profits for the Trump Organization. Trump raised the price of his rooms in his hotel in Washington D.C. out of the roof! Now, a private meeting with the president is just the cost of one of the penthouses at his hotel! That sure is democracy for you. As long as you have enough money, anyone can speak with the president!

It gets even more sickening. Neil Gorsuch, the Supreme Court judge selected by our president, will be speaking to a conservative group next month. Where? You guessed it. Trump International Hotel. The timing of this event has raised many eyebrows. Gorsuch’s speech is Sept. 28, just a few weeks before the Supreme Court hears arguments on Trump’s travel ban. Hmmmm…. ABAJournal article

You scratch my back and I scratch yours. Disgusting!

Without some legislative relief, though, at least 1,100 agents — for now — would not be eligible for overtime even as one of the agency’s largest protective assignments looms next month. Nearly 150 foreign heads of state are expected to converge on New York City for the United Nations General Assembly. USA TODAY

Remember how angry they were over Obama’s vacations?!

HAH!!!!
